ELC College is an official center accredited by ETS (Educational Testing Service) for the preparation and administration of the TOEIC test in Montréal.
The TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) assesses the English proficiency of non-native speakers in both written and spoken comprehension.
- Listening Comprehension : 100 multiple-choice questions45 minutes
- Reading Comprehension : 100 multiple-choice questions75 minutes
Test day procedures
- Please arrive one (1) hour before the beginning of the session. You must wait in the designated waiting area until 12:30 p.m., when you will be admitted to the testing room.
- Bring your admission ticket ( digital or printed ) along with the required identification documents listed in the “Fees & Registration” section.
- Personal belongings ( coats, bags, electronic devices, etc. ) will be stored in the cloakroom.
- Only your identification document, a pencil, and an eraser are allowed in the testing room.
Once the test has started, no candidate will be admitted to the room.
- After verification of your identity and the storage of your personal items, test administrators will assign you a seat.
- Administrators will read the general test instructions aloud.
- Answer sheets and exam booklets will be distributed.
- Administrators will assist you in completing the required information on the answer sheets and booklets.
- Once these steps are completed, administrators will check the audio volume with all candidates. The test will begin immediately afterward.
When the test is finished, administrators will collect the answer sheets and booklets.
You must remain seated during the collection process. Administrators will perform a few checks before allowing you to leave the room.
Before your departure, you will be informed of the expected date on which you will receive your results by mail.
You may not leave the testing room until the test is fully completed.
Results
ETS will mail your official score report within fifteen (15) to twenty (20) business days following your exam.
Please make sure your mailing address is accurate at the time of registration.
Because TOEIC results are confidential, ELC College cannot communicate your scores.

Registration
Before registering, please carefully read the online registration guidelines on the ETS website. You will find detailed instructions (in French and English) on how to upload your ID photo.
Select TOEIC L&R Public Test from the dropdown menu. Confirm that you have selected the correct test before entering your credit card information and completing payment.

In the registration form, the “Student ID” corresponds to the first 10 characters of your Québec permanent code (AAAA999999).
On the test day, you must bring your admission ticket (TOEIC On-Line Registration Electronic Admission Ticket) and one of the following official photo IDs ( must include your photo and signature ):
Passport ( mandatory for international candidates ).
Driver’s license issued by a Canadian province or territory.
Health insurance card issued by a Canadian province or territory
Please note that there will be NO REFUND for selecting the wrong test, test center, or test session.
No changes, transfers, or exchanges will be made regarding your registration, test center, date, or time.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email from ETS Canada.
