DELF-DALF REGISTRATIONS HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.

WHAT ARE THE DELF AND DALF DIPLOMAS?

The DELF (Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française) and the DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) are official diplomas awarded by the French National Ministry of Education to certify the competency of candidates from outside of France in the French language. The DELF and DALF qualifications are under the authority of the CIEP (Centre International d’Études Pédagogiques).

The DELF and the DALF are composed of six independent diplomas corresponding to the six levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).

The DELF and DALF diplomas are independent, so candidates register directly for the examination of their choice. At each level, four skills are evaluated: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

EXAMINATION DAY

Candidates must check in with the supervisor of the official centre or the invigilator(s) with their notification of schedule and their valid passport. CANDIDATES WITHOUT VALID IDENTIFICATION WILL BE REFUSED TO ACCESS THE EXAMINATION; NO EXCEPTION WILL BE MADE.

After the identity check, the head of the official centre or the invigilator(s) will direct the candidates to their assigned seats in the examination room.

Exams are computer-based. Candidates must leave their piece of ID visibly on the table for the entirety of the test so that identity checks can be performed throughout the test.

During the entire examination, no exits will be permitted, unless in case of emergency or health issue previously informed by the candidate and justified with a medical certificate.

During the entirety of the exams, communication amongst candidates or the outside will not be permitted

Candidates arriving late will not be allowed in the examination room once the examination has started.

In the event of fraud or misconduct by a candidate (disturbing the examination procedure, communication or attempt to communicate with other candidates or the outside…), candidates expose themselves to immediate removal from the examination room as well as a ban from taking the test for a period that will be determined by the France Éducation international.
