Our curriculum is aligned with l’Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français , which precisely describe what learners are able to do in French in a wide variety of everyday situations. It establishes the standard for describing, assessing and recognizing French language competencies.

The program includes 12 levels divided into three stages :

• Beginner: Levels 1 to 4.

• Intermediate: Levels 5 to 8.

• Advanced: Levels 9 to 12.

It specifies what learners can do in each of the four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

In this program, students acquire the essential grammatical foundations needed to improve their accuracy, fluency and overall proficiency in French. Grammar is introduced progressively and in context, directly linked to real communication situations.

Classes are interactive and encourage discovery-based learning: students observe, experiment and use the language before formalizing the rules, with guidance from the teacher and targeted explanations when needed.

The focus is on the ability to communicate effectively in French. Each language point is practiced through a wide range of practical activities that allow learners to immediately use what they learn, both orally and in writing.

Topics cover a wide variety of everyday-life situations, encouraging authentic and relevant exchanges. The variety of activities promotes active participation and communication in an environment close to real-life French use in Québec.

Learners progress using structured teaching materials, complemented by interactive activities and simulations, ensuring continuous, measurable and lasting progress.
