TEFaQ PREPARATION COURSE

In the framework of immigration procedures, the Quebec Ministry for Immigration, Francisation and Integration (MIFI) requests proof of the applicants’ linguistic knowledge of French. For these procedures, it recognizes the TEF Québec (TEFAQ) examination.
What are the tests?

The TEF Québec (TEFAQ) examination consists of four tests:

1 Oral comprehension: 40 min – 60 questions

2 Oral expression: 15 min – 2 topics

3 Written comprehension: 60 min – 50 questions

4 Written expression: 60 min – 2 topics

*TEF Québec (TEFAQ) enables applicants to obtain points according to the following scale:

In order to obtain the maximum number of points when your results are presented as part of your immigration application, you are advised to take the oral comprehension and expression tests, and if you have an advanced level of written French, you are also advised to take all of the written tests.
